ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
It’s an honour that a well-known institution exclusively dedicated to children’s education, Raghubir Bal Mandir was of a primary school, established in Aligarh in year 1936. It has been upgraded up to Senior Secondary level with the affiliation to CBSE New Delhi in 2009. After 62 years of steady progress in children’s education, from the nestling stage, its prime purpose is to provide the opportunities for the personal enrichment of the students. School was established to enhance learning among the students, to induce awareness about character formation, to provide knowledge of Indian cultural heritage and to ensure physical development of children as well. The fact is evident that in last few years there has been a mushroom growth of autonomous institutions in Aligarh, but with well-designed programmes, amid these institutions, Raghubir Bal Mandir has its distinctive reputation for its stability, excellence and well determined goals. With organised efforts, Raghubir Bal Mandir is making a steady progress and providing the best education in Aligarh to meet the challenges of the society at global level.

The aim of Raghubir Bal Mandir is to provide all round development to its students. We are concerned to develop the qualities, moral characters such as courage, honesty, trust and curiosity in the pupils. We strive to equip our students with self-confidence and independence and the understanding that duties always precede rights.
We aim to make our students lifelong learners who recognize that learning is a vital resource which shapes social behaviour and personality. Pupils will find here a well-qualified and competent teaching staff with a great range of skills and interests, a wide choice of activities, academic, aesthetic, a spirit of excitement, challenge and competitiveness and a discipline based on the belief that responsibility comes from freedom and service comes before self.

School Crest
Raghubir Bal Mandir Sr. Sec. School is the oldest and the most prestigious school of Aligarh. The school crest bears the motto (Balo Rashtro Mahanidhi) (Children Are National Asset). In keeping with our motto, we prepare the foundation of children, by bringing out their virtues, like a beautiful “Lotus.” It signifies the purity, love, innocence, delicacy and endurance. In totality we strive that each child must shine with the light of knowledge and wisdom. Our house of learning welcomes all with open arms to take part in their life building programme.
Academic Scenario
The school provides co-education from Nursery – class 12th. It follows a standard curriculum based on the guidelines recommended by the CBSE, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English. Along with English medium education, the thrust is also on Indian culture, Indian moral values and on the proficiency in professional skills.
Its aim to inculcate secular values with the emphasis on the importance and reverence for all religions. Besides, national consciousness it is the cardinal core of all curricular and extracurricular activities. Besides regular classroom teaching, we provide facilities for the exposure of the students through activities like music, art, yoga and other activities.
In order to strengthen academic programme, we have a well-equipped library. Students are regularly encouraged to visit library where a wide range of books, periodicals and newspapers are available for the students. A modern computer lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, and Drawing lab are visited by the students regularly. Excursion and seminars are also included in the curriculum.

वर्तमान में विद्यालय नौवीं से बारहवीं कक्षा तक चल रहा है। यूपी बोर्ड के पाठ्यक्रम के अनुसार , एनसीईआरटी की किताबें हैं । कक्षा IX से XII में कर विधि द्वारा सीखने का अनुसरण किया जाता है। गणित, विज्ञान और सामाजिक विज्ञान में एक व्यावहारिक पर बहुत जोर दिया जाता है, जबकि इंटरैक्टिव कौशल विकास को भाषाओं में बहुत अधिक शक्ति दी जाती है। नृत्य, नाटक, संगीत पश्चिमी और भारतीय, लोक गीत और नृत्य, योग, खेल और खेल शिक्षाविदों के अनिवार्य अंग हैं।
सह पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियां
बास्केटबॉल, क्रिकेट, फुटबॉल, हैंडबॉल, हॉकी, वॉलीबॉल, कबड्डी, खो-खो, बैडमिंटन, टेबल- टेनिस, टेनिस, एथलेटिक्स (ट्रैक एंड फील्ड), योग, नृत्य नाटक, संगीत लोक और शास्त्रीय, हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में साहित्यिक प्रतियोगिताएं स्कूल में दैनिक गतिविधियों का हिस्सा हैं।

Infrastructure
The school currently has 4 classrooms, along with a well-equipped science lab and computer room. For co-curricular activities, the school also has a playground where students engage in games like badminton, football, and cricket. There are separate toilets for girls and boys. Additionally, the school has an art room, an office, and a principal’s room.
Co-curricular Activities
Basketball, cricket, football, handball, hockey, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, table tennis, tennis, athletics (track and field), yoga, dance drama, music (folk and classical), and literary competitions in Hindi and English are part of the daily activities at the school.
